Paul Dirac,in 1933, received Nobl Prize in science and refused to accept it because he disliked name or fame for his '.'work of Joy'. At last when his friend (? N.BOHR) convinced him that he Ddirac) was going to be more famous if he refused tha prize than he accepted it. And Dirac thus could be accept it.

So many otherwise undeserving or even deserving nominee ,otherwise, soeagerly await and try to influence the committee to win the priae.
P. Dirac was so unique and exceptional ! He even could have been one of the richest person if was material minded and patented his discovery.

It really admirable for Obama to declare him yet unqualified for the Prize. Yes His name was on 11th day of his presidency but for the last eleven months the Noble committee were obsrving his spirit and will and counted him on the basis of expectation and global crisis developing.
So, I think , the crown has been placed on the most deserving head though the recipient is put on most difficult positon !

MANY TIMES NOBEL PEACE PRIZE HAVE BEEN ,I THINK, AWARDED ON QUESTIONABLE SELECTIONS AND ALSO TO others persos working on narrower field .
This time the selection of the field have been the widest ,including all global fields.
But the award has not been offered on the basis of the result achieved, I think.
If it has been awarded on intuition and on the basis of expectation , i think it has been a right choice in view of the looming stormy cloud threatening the globe.
It means ,also, that the expectation and the burden placed on the head of the chosen person( President of U.S.A ) is immense.

" ARMS AND THE MAN " - G.B.S

As I was distracted by the TV show on right to arm or not , I was foreced to recall G.B.S -play : In That play , a person challenged the hero to a gun fight and selected a revolver for himself (was a sharp - shooter) and asked his opponent to select his own. The popnent selected a machine gun, as entitled. The Challenger ,shcked, asked why such choice and the challenged repllied ' I am not sure of my shooting skill '.
In U.S.A,there is a great debate on 'right to keep arms'. TO me , even if i was given two loaded guns and a killer had one un-loaded, I could not have decided in half an our if I should take this rare oportunity and even if I was trained. It depends a lot upon a person's mentality, genetic disposition and pattern of consciousness to be the 'first shooter'. So even I am armed with a gun , I am sure to be a 'dead man' on a senario against a man with 'killer instinct'.

So , I think, a gun man with a killer-instinct will have always a better and surer chance in case of a confrontation betwwen a killer and a gentleman with a loaded gun.

It is admitted and proved on record that Federer made history, broke record and won the result in the Final on last sunday at Wimbledon. But, I think , the Real winner , in show and spirit on the court on that day was Roddik ( at lt least for the millions of viewers on the field and outside, receiving their money's worth with, even, bonus).
With less expectation from Roddik and more admiration for the champion, already heaped upon Federer long before the Game, it is the unique under- rated 'Gladiator' who gave the viewers all the real worth of their time amd money and proved himself the real 'winner' on the court though a loser by the score-board result. But for his super-heroic fight, it could not have been the most exciting tenis-game with such nail- biting finish.

When that son is 50yrs +, give him that more than 3 crores . He is thus a crore-pati without excercising his 'solid'- brain . And the society will be saved from the production of a 'Licentiate - Murderer' through all sorts of mal-practices. ....Otherwise, how shall he recover the huge sum of 20Lakh + other sums spent for his graduation, if the society expects a honest 'Doctor' out of him ??? . And ... and...& - the State govt & the 'winner' opposition-party are wrestling a political 'semi-final' to conrol the Cent. Govt relief- sanction of about 11,000 crores for creating a stage show to prove : - who is really the ' mother-soul ' and thus to gain more in popularity-score.. Well I think the fault lies in Aging -complacency , Egoistic [poliptical ] over- confidence, and sub-soil-corruption level growing like fungus/parasite , in the root level of the geriatric political health.
Go to the root level and examine like a Clinician and what you see!If at that level, a party unit behaves like a tribal- lord with a group of strong-muscles and for ordinary dumb and innocent mass & say : 'please the party-men locally or suffer'. This is what ['I think' but can not prove.] may be a cause .
In short, , the' internet connection' of a party at the top is lost at group-unit level and the worst ,- the connection with the silent mass is thought 'unnecessary'.
Result : -wait for the next election and we will know. Or re-gain the peripheral Circulation and dis-allow corruption and physical terror. It has reached the 'critical level' of endurance-stress.

While Mamata could not resist the temptation of Cabinet-post [Railway],Rahul Gandhi proved his mature wisdom of remaining outside and thus ganing more political power in the Party -control-room with his skillful organisational talent and youth-brigade for more future growth and control.
Here is one situation where the Trino -Mool Cong -leader has stepped into a risk-factor .
Any power -cap will show sign of erosion & invite public-di-illusion by Law of Entropy, while her base (W,Bengal) is left bare without promise & sign of building growng 'youth-force'.

Whether our 'Politicians' corrupt practices and oportunistic groupism will be rooted out henceforth (for the welfare of the Nation) or this new venture and hope also, will end in a Black-hole tragedy, it is too early to formulate. Let us see and hope for better or the best !
Now that many with ccriminal past records have been pushed backt or kept out is a good sign for all who desire a real Democracy.

Mamata Devi, - I know it is not my business to advise you nor even my opinion has a market- value. But I also know , I have the constitutional-right to my opinion.
And -don't leave West-Bengal to join the Central Cabinet, even if it be a heavy portfolio. Since you ahave not yet any 'Rahul' -for the young -group to jack up the youth of Bengal and prepare them for the next and main show , you should stay back for West Bengal and let the Young(honest) Bengal rise [not even to win the 'Game ' but to clean up/expose the present "cancerous, corruption at all levels of govt administration].
Even during my present short stay here I am 'smelling rats', in my occassional dealings. So, Stay back until West Bengal looks clean and back with 'character'.
Maybe, the culture in this part needs some 'mother -SHAKTI' to revive its lost glory. ='parashar'

To me, and according to my recent experiences(I think) that corruption at govt level is several times more in West Bengal than in any other part of India.
It is good that the very very old and rooted organised system is ,perhaps, crumbling by silent opinion of the people thru this Election-process held so recently. You can not get anything done, I think, with any help of rule or law and without making some 'hand-shakes'.
It is also good that a new wave of youth-movement, and eencouraging Election- results, free of bargaining and gangstarism [with inner mantra of oportunism],is now on the rise, as the Parliamentary Election - results are now declared and evident. Let us wait and see.
Once, Politics was almost a synonym of Patriotism ! To day , it seems, Politics is more an applied science of financial marketing and weilding brute- power to exploit the simple, honest
and comon rank of helpless people, with whose votes the the 'elected rulers' betray them !

What was there for any cultured and self-respecting Indian to dance about and sing "Jai Ho" in that foreign Picture (English) showing an Indian Slum-dog becoming a millionaire in the copy-cat senario of an American show "How to be a Millionaire"! Where is the scope of any self respecting Indian to be proud of it ? Is it because some Indian musician or a song writer joined the 'gang' to Underscore our Indian slum !
The Director was a Britisher; the screen-play- writer - a Britisher ; The Script- writer a Britisher and two others, also Britiser, and finally the film itself is a British film.
I am ready to be the loner and downgrade this film as a shrued commercial trick to exploit the Asian Market at the cost of an Indian back-drop and fooling the innocent and good-hearted Indians. Let the World sing 'jai ho' and dance about... but not the Indians.
Guljar, in my opinion, should not have associated his name in this sad episode.
